Manitoba’s new anti-poverty strategy
Manitoba has taken important steps to reduce poverty, creating many successful initiatives. Child poverty has been reduced by 43 per cent since 2000 – a significant achievement. Manitoba has the third lowest poverty rate of all provinces for children and adults. But there is still more work to do.
