02/23/2023

Treaty 1 and Dakota Territory, Homeland of the Red River Métis, Winnipeg MB—Just ahead of the final session of the Manitoba Legislature before the provincial election, Wab Kinew announced new roles for the Official Opposition team that will hold Heather Stefanson and her PC government to account in the Legislature.

“I’m proud to announce the new roles our MLAs will take on to challenge Premier Stefanson’s health care cuts and her plan to make life more expensive for people. These critics have the experience and expertise to offer a real alternative to the failures of the Stefanson Government and their plans to continue with Brian Pallister’s agenda of cuts. They will hold the Stefanson PC government accountable on the issues that matter most to families like keeping Hydro affordable, improving schools, making seniors care better, and creating good jobs for workers. Together, we will work against PC cuts and demand a better life for Manitoba families.”
