Shannon is a born and bred Transconian who has spent decades working in the River East Transcona School Division. She believes that local communities are the heart of Manitoba's future and served as Vice-Principal at Transcona Collegiate before being elected.

As an educator and long time care-giver for her family, Shannon is passionate about ensuring people have the care and services they need to stay in their community.
